Housing Survey

The final housing survey document for both Community Coucil areas was completed in April 2006.

Di Alexander (HSCHT Manager), Ronnie Macrae (HSCHT Development Officer) and Alan Paul (Pentland Housing Association) attended the SECDG meeting on 7th February at 7.30 in Dunbeath Community Centre.  Di presented the result of the housing survey where it was agreed that HSCHT, Pentland Housing Association and representatives from Highland Council arrange a meeting to agree a way forward towards the provision of affordable housing in our area.

Highlands Small Communities Housing Trust (HSCHT) carried out a postal questionnaire survey.  The survey titled "South East Caithness Initiative at the Edge Area Housing Survey" had a return date of Friday 18th November 2005.

Individual surveys were produced for Dunbeath and Berriedale Community Council Area and Latheron, Lybster and Clyth Community Council Area.

A draft survey of the results had been received and was distributed to Dunbeath Community Council, Lybster Community Council and agency partners for comment.
